The Challenge: The Peninsula College Marketing Department had been tasked with alleviating concerns students might have with traditionally “tough” subjects, such as STEM and English. The “Faculty Features” videos were intended to mitigate prospective student fears by introducing them to instructors in a friendly, approachable manner outside of the classroom setting.
The Project: The Marketing Department collaborated with a local videographer to capture video during class. I was part of the team that captured the interview footage. I let the clips tell the story and edited the videos in-house.
The Outcome: This video features a biology instructor, whose personality, passion, and enthusiasm shine in the clips. This video and the rest in the series were initially posted on social media and then incorporated onto the college website. They are also available on YouTube.
