The Challenge

Every year, Peninsula College sends out a holiday message just before Winter Break. After two years of Covid shutdowns, I wanted a video that was bright, cheerful, and highlighted the campus. Our photo/video library didn’t have many recent selections (due to the campus being shut down followed by primarily online classes), but I wanted a video that was still recognizable as Peninsula College.

The Project

I created this holiday e-card in Adobe AfterEffects. I replicated campus buildings in Adobe Illustrator to populate the snowy landscape. I also featured the college’s colors and athletic logo to maintain the college’s identity throughout the video. I selected a song that matched the cheery feeling I captured with the video.

The Outcome

The e-card was sent via email to campus faculty/staff, community members, and other college stakeholders. It was also shared on our social media channels.
